1900-1920
(Full size)
(Close-up) This photo, being sold on Ebay by myuneekfinds, is
either of a nurse or a maid from the late 1800s to the early
1900s. I think she is probably a maid because she by the fire and
her outfit (especially the cap) look more like a maid's. She is a
pretty young lady, and the intriguing background room looks almost like
a flat painting. She is holding a book or pamphlet on her lap.
This photo was being sold on Ebay by ball-cards. It's
a late 1800s to early
1900s dress. She appears to be wearing a bracelet or two.
And look at the oriental rug next to her! (I cropped the original
rounded corners.)
This sweet photo was given to us because it was being thrown out by
someone. (It was torn in two, but I restored it on the
computer.) - I believe it was taken in the early
1900s. The girl on the left is wearing a lace-trimmed gown, a
necklace, stockings, and button-up boots. The woman is sitting in
a large wooden chair. She wears glasses on a string, a patterned
dress with lace trim, a lace blouse, a cameo necklace, boots, and what
looks like a ring on her left hand. The girl on the right wears a
simple dress and a large bow in her hair, along with stockings and
boots. - They are looking at a book together.
This photo was being sold on Ebay by ball-cards. It's a fancy
white, early
1900s dress. (I cropped the original frame with rounded corners.)

She is wearing earrings with her pretty dress with lace trim.
This is a photo of my great-great grandmother (in the back) with some
relatives. The picture looks to have been taken around the same
year (maybe a bit earlier) as the next photo. They're wearing
lace-up boots. The boy on the left is sitting on a metal chair, and there are
some flowers and another chair, I believe, in the background.
There's a nice rug under them, too.
This is another picture of my great-great grandmother, Carolyn Reno (the
woman with spectacles), and some other relatives. The little baby
is my grandmother, Carrie Reno (St. John later). These are some
cute, smiley kids! The photo was taken in 1906. Note the
beaded work on the lady's dress and the box in the background.
This photo was being sold on Ebay by ball-cards. It's an early
1900s outfit, with an embroidered ? skirt. (I cropped the original
rounded corners.)
This photo was being sold on Ebay by ball-cards. It's an
interesting early
1900s outfit. The lady is wearing black boots, a striped skirt, a
full, lacy blouse with a watch fob or pin, ribbons in her hair, and a
straw (?) hat. (I cropped the original frame with rounded
corners.)

This photo is of nine ladies and two men. Most of the women are
wearing nurse's uniforms, two with crosses of the Red Cross. The
photo appears to have been taken in the early 1900s (1910-1920,
perhaps).
This photo was being sold on Ebay by terindennis. It appears to
have been taken in the early 1900s. Pretty clothing and
interesting hats, and rather pretty ladies. Two of them are wearing necklaces.

The couple is Mr. & Mrs. Paul Gunder. The lady is wearing a
nice dress, jewelry, and headpiece.
This is a photo of one of my ancestors, Lulu Waters, probably taken in the
1910s or earlier. She is sitting in a big wooden chair and wearing
high-button boots and a belt with a big buckle. It was her
eighteenth birthday.
These are some relatives on my dad's side of the family (Merritts).

This is a photo of my grandmother, Carrie Reno St. John, and her
brother, John.

It was probably taken in the 1920s. The bride and groom (on the
left) pose with their bridesmaid (or maid of honor?) and best man.
The women's shoes are interesting. The lady's on the right look
like they have three straps that fasten.
This photo of an aviator and early airplane is being sold on Ebay by thepapergallery3.
All three people are wearing hats, and the lady is wearing a fur collar
and putting her hand on the aviator. The photo appears to have
been taken in the 1910s or 20s.

The young lady is wearing an unusual dress (with pants and boots
underneath, I think) and turban.

It is a Hawaiian silk dress from the 30s by Elsie Krassas (see

dad), Melvin Merritt, is in the middle/top.
This is a photo of my grandmother, Velma Nash (Merritt) when she was 21,

My mother's family (the St. Johns) in 1945. My mom is on the left
(cute).
This is a photo of my mother's family in the 40s (or 50s?). My
mother is the youngest girl there (isn't she cute?). My Aunt Cora
Helen (on the left) is wearing a nice double-breasted jacket, plaid
dress, and a hat.
This is a photo of my great-grandmother, Grace Merritt, later in her
life. It was probably taken in the 1950s?
I found this lovely dress on Ebay. It was being sold by: thejingleheimercollection
- There are more photos of it here.
It's a pink tulle dress from the 50s and has netting over top the tulle
underskirt.

(Train)
This wedding dress was being sold on Ebay by eurodiva. It is
probably from the sixties and is a fairly simple but elegant design in a
sort of Regency style (empire waist). Lace lines the sleeves and botoom of the
dress, and there are buttons part way down the back and a ribbon.
There is a detachable train, which has ivory lace (or embroidery?) on
it.
